Extra Life returns to Cairo for the first time since releasing their third full-length album, Dream Seeds on Northern Spy Records (US) and Africantape (EU/UK).  Also performing will be Seattle's most elusive non-band, "Silver Shamrocks", and new Cairo fave Numbs.  Show starts at 8 pm!

Sam Mickens, Extra Life, and U tonight

You might have seen that Sam Mickens (The Dead Science, Xiu Xiu, late of the Stranger) and Extra Life are playing a set tomorrow at the Highline on Broadway, but whereas that show is strictly 21+, tonight's Mickens/Extra Life concert at Cairo is all-ages and a scant $5. If you've ever seen opening band U before, you know they're not to be missed, especially now that they're performing blistering all-new material. We hope to see you tonight and if not, come by our early (7 PM) barbecue show tomorrow, featuring three of the area's best solo artists!
