Sam Mickens, Extra Life, and U tonight

You might have seen that Sam Mickens (The Dead Science, Xiu Xiu, late of the Stranger) and Extra Life are playing a set tomorrow at the Highline on Broadway, but whereas that show is strictly 21+, tonight's Mickens/Extra Life concert at Cairo is all-ages and a scant $5. If you've ever seen opening band U before, you know they're not to be missed, especially now that they're performing blistering all-new material.
